Happy baby

Lilah is almost 7 weeks old and it's really very hard to believe. We have had so much fun getting to know her and learning our new life with her in it. She is just a wonderful baby. She is almost sleeping through the night (she only wakes up once) and is starting to get into a regular routine. Our day is filled with eating, burping, spitting up (a lot), changing clothes (because of the spit up), walking around in the Moby carrier (which I love by the way and recommend it to everyone with babies), staring at the tapestry on the wall, pooping, and smiling. She is a very content baby and easy to take care of.

The dogs just love her and are always very interested in what she is doing. They treat her very gently and great with her. The best part is that their barking doesn't bother
I just love this picture.

This is her one month old picture. We kept forgetting to take it and I happened to remember when she was sleeping. I'm realizing that if I don't do things the second I remember them I forget ten seconds later and it never gets done. She is laying next to her pig Winifred (which is what we told everyone Lilah's name was before she was born). We bought her in Epcot in the England section when we went on our babymoon this summer. The guy who sold it to us is playing Yaxley in the next Harry Potter movie. We got our picture taken with him. It's our claim to fame.

This is a true reflection on Lilah's personality. She is just so happy.....and covered in spit up

What's up?

Chubby cheeks

We love taking sleeping pictures of her.

Sitting pretty. Isn't she just the cutest???

She woke up and was sucking on her hand and eventually found her thumb. It was too cute not to take a picture of it.

The Holidays

Here are some pictures of the holidays. Like I said in the last post it was rather a busy time for us. Lilah is actually four weeks old today! It's really very hard to believe. I think back four weeks ago on this day and it's kind of a blur. It seems like she just arrived yesterday and that she's been here forever, all at the same time.

Lilah and her buddy Alex. They were born three weeks apart (Alex is older). They love to sleep through church together among other fun activities.
Lilah and Grandpa Kenny on Christmas eve.

Lilah was a reindeer for Christmas day.
Lilah in her pretty red Christmas outfit....and resident bib. The bib has now become a part of every outfit.

Alianna's pile of presents. Lilah's was a bit smaller and of course Bill, Garrett, Jordan and I did not have any kind of pile what so ever. I have a feeling that the kids will forever be getting many more presents than us.

This is the amazing and beautiful quilt that Auntie Jordy made for Lilah. It's so pretty I'm not sure if I'll ever let Lilah play with it for fear of ruining it.

Lilah and Alianna in matching outfits that Nana bought for Christmas.

Lilah and Alianna again in matching outfits. This was not on purpose though, they just happen to have similar outfits. Lilah was very interested in Alianna.

Lilah in the Christmas hat. It says " Nana's Little Elf," but it's kind of hard to see in this picture.

Nana and her girls

Lilah's many faces....
